Howdy Volks. I dimantled the instrument cluster on my '80 Westy to figure our why my odometer wasn't working. A gear had slipped out of place. I gently pushed the gear back and reassembled the thing. Now my odometer (and trip meter) are working perfectly (for now), but the speedometer works only sporadically. About 50% of the time it seems to be working fine; 40% of the time the needle doesn't even budge; and 10% of the time it does something in between. Any thoughts? Is there something I should have done but didn't? Is there something I shouldn't have done but did? Thanks. -j-bird _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail |
