4 resistors and 3 capacitors, looks like. Has anyone ever run a frequency response test on this thing? Bet it rolls off at about 2 or 3 Hz, moderately hard, but not too hard, not enough there. 2 caps are probably bypass, 2 resistors are probably for current limiting or bias, so 2R 1C active filter circuit. Maybe 3R 2C, but I doubt it. I'm obviously guessing a bit here, but it should be very easy to make a circuit that does the same thing and better. I'd love to do that. Used to make rack mount bi-amp crossovers for pro use among other things. This should be much simpler. And a ton cheaper than VW's price, whatever it is.
