Same pulley, same core, just rebuilt at the shop. It just takes a quick jump to 1500 rpm to initiate the charging. If heard of others having this problem, too. Once I rev it up to get out of the driveway, the light goes out and everything is fine, even at low rpm's. The only difference so far between the original equipment and the rebuilt original equipment is this 'lag' in beginning the charge. I think some folks on the list discussed this about 9 months ago, about a month before I got mine rebuilt. Weeeird.
