Subject: How can I get the stove/fridge to work 1st time user HELP PLEASE
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Tracy,

Both David Robertson and David Beierl have already given good advice on starting with the simpler stove lighting and troubleshooting the propane system in general. Once you've successfully accomplished these though, it's on to the fridge.

You don't say which of your vans you're having the trouble with, so I'll assume the Vanagon.

Start by running the fridge several hours, even overnight, on 120VAC shore power, to pre-chill the system and get the circulation going. Then follow the PDF Owner's Manual which I have pmailed you separately for the proper lighting procedure.

If the system has been sitting unused for very long, you may need to clean the external intake/exhaust vent tubes with a shop-vac and drain the little screw-cap located waaay down near the floor underneath the front of the fridge cabinet.

Good luck!
