I did not mean to suggest that food be placed immediately into the fridge upon
lighting it in propane mode. I only meant to suggest an alternate method of
starting in propane mode. One should still allow the fridge to cool down to an
adequate
temp before storing with food.

| Even if the fridge starts 'working' immediately on 12V
| or propane, it can still take a while to get truly
| cold, especially during the summer camping season. I
| sure wouldn't want to stuff a lukewarm fridge fulla
| food (even cold food) and then hit the road, expecting
| the 12VDC to quickly get the system down to proper
| refrigeration temps.
