Hi All, I checked the archives ( both vanagon and syncro lists ) but did not find any detailed descriptions of this job. I have looked in Bentley and as usual there are the intimidating special tools and presses mentioned. Specifically mentioned in Bentley was the oil splash ring and accompanying oil seal installation, is this really required? Has anyone done entire job or can point to an archive describing it. Thanks.
