Steve, I got my rebuilt manual tranny from one of our listees. I have about 20,000 miles on it now and it is still running fab. Daryl was extremely easy to deal with over the phone and was a man of his word. Fast shipping, answered every stupid question I could throw at him. Highly recommended. I don't know if he has rebuilt auto trans but worth a shot. Daryl Chistensen/ AA Transaxle aatransaxle@msn.com 1-877-377-0773

Well, I have put off the inevitable long enough, I need a new transmission for my 83 Watercooled Van, Auto unfortunately.

Does anyone know WHICH transmissions will fit the bill ? I am thinking a rebuilt tranny would be fine, I just havent got a clue which will "fit" without too much headache. Anyone have recommendations ? Where to buy ?

Thanks, Steve
