IIRC Armor-All acts more like a solvent than adds oil. It draws oils to the surface from deeper in the plastic and posibly adds a little as well, but the end result is unless you keep applying it the pastic will crack. This topic comes up from time to time when people are wondering why the dash is faded/cracked.

I've used a product called 303 Protectant by Innova. It was originally created as a plastic/vinyl protectant for Boeing and had to meet their specs. I've used it on Kayaks and on vinyls and plastics in the car and it works great. An added bonus is it doesn't leave that hideous shine that Armor-All does. Expensive, but nice.

You can find it at some parts places or most outfitters. Googling turned up pages of places selling online.
