I did not have to drop the A/C unit to repair the problem. My A/C had been worked on when it was converted to 134a. When it worked up a lot of condensation, it would leak from the seams of the cabinet. I had to loosen the screws, drop it a bit and feel with my hand (small hands help) to where the drip pan and the drain tubes met. They had come out of alignment. Now all is well.
