"Fully retractable" is very important in the woods and in the car wash. Mine was bent by a branch and killed by a car wash (of course, it wouldn't retract once it was bent.) I replaced the broken section with a bolt-on spring setup. Now, the branches will whip around the antenna, but it won't break. Also, it's fun going through a parking garage with the antenna pinging off every pipe and joist. Bill Marshall 85 GL Tiico "Pandora's Box" Aurora, IL |
