David; The corrosion at the ground clusters is due, IMHO, to the leaky windshield syndrome which seems to affect all Vanagons. I recommend everyone inspect each ground as a preventive measure. Furthermore, I cut off any connector that had two wires on it and crimped a new one on EACH wire. As for the headlight grounds I crimped on an eyelet and placed them under the screws that hold the fuse panel.
