Got under the van last Saturday and found the cause(s) of my coolant leak. Paranoia had said head leak, but reality was much nicer: a hose off the oil cooler was cracked. While digging further we found that the outlet hose on the passenger-side head was bad as well and streamed coolant too. Joy. While we were going to handle the replacement, I decided that a lot of them were suspect so off to the shop it goes. So here's my question: are the list vendor hoses the same age as ones that would come from the dealer? I want to get this done with and not worry for another 10 years, but also don't want to go broke. Advice? john 90 Carat |
