Hello all.. Got an A/C question...On my van the A/C compressor is new as well as the dryer and expansion valve. A/C was blowing nice and cold...then about 3 days ago i noticed that is was not as cold...and now just kinda luke warm air. The A/C work was done in the end or April. So my gut is that I have a freon leak. So with that said..if there is a leak how does one go about finding it? How do the A/C repair shops go about finding a leak? Do they have a "Sniffer Device"? of some sort of device that tells them where the leak is? IF not, how do they do it? I am going to take the van in to see if indeed it's low on freon...if so..finding the leak is next..Any advice? Also, anyone in the York County area in Southern pennsylvania know of any good A/C repair shops? thanks all, jesse |
