John,

I'm working on a wbx - originally out of an '87 syncro, now going (hopefully in the next couple days) into my '84 westy.

Why 95mm P&Cs? Ummm... slightly bigger for slightly less? Would i do it again? Probably not. I don't have a lot of experience with this stuff, but just looking at the castings between oem and these, oem does seem quite a bit more refined. But man... that 1mm of pure unadulterated HP will knock your socks off! People have been using them with a bit of success, though, it seems. Long term, they still have yet to be proven.

Regarding your chevvy comment - to go 101.4mm pistons, you'd have to do some major modification to the case as the cylinders are right at 100mm stock. I don't think a -0.7mm cylinder wall will do much for you... There is talk of fancy 97s on the horion, but those'll likely cost you a pretty penny.

Hope that answers your question, -Damon
