I second Phil's advice. Pulling the motor takes a beginner 2 hours.I can pull my own in about 30 minutes.

You have to bend up the tin some to remove it to replace the head.............and it really is more trouble than it is worth. When you pull the motor, you end up doing other maintenance that you can't do any other time..............rear seal, tranny input shaft seal, check end play, etc................

If you are going to replace one head you better be sure it matches the other................best to swap in matched pairs if you can afford it.
