Mark,

I am sure others will disagree but I would say use what you feel most comfortable with but change it once every two years and fix any leaks asap. I think the problems with the green phosphate coolant is the result of people who drive with a headgasket leak and this will do harm to the head. If you fix the leak earlier it will always be less expensive. Date: Mon, 4 Aug 2003 08:32:22 -0700 From: Mark Bus <mothbus@YAHOO.COM> Subject: Which coolant: blue, green or orange?

My 87 GL Camper is getting a rebuild AVP engine put in next week. I will be changing the coolant every two years as recommended by other waterboxer owners. Which coolant should I use: the OEM blue that goes for $15 a gallon, the orange coolant at $7.50 a gallon or the green at $5 a gallon? Thanks for the help...
