I've done this same kind of "hunt" a few times. The best results I've ever had come from bike/sport/rack shop eemployees who have a box of "old goodies" they no longer use. I've never paid more than $10.00 for the part, or entire box of stuff. Give it a go if you don't have any luck here ;>)

I need a part for a Thule roofrack for a canopy I'm making. It originally fit a '93 Jetta so it clamps on the Vanagon nicely. But I'm missing the rubber clamp liner for one gutter foot: http://internet.cybermesa.com/~bludevil/RackMount/FootWithRubber.jpg which shows a complete clamp.

The rubber piece only is shown here: http://internet.cybermesa.com/~bludevil/RackMount/RubberPiece.jpg

More pictures can be seen here: http://internet.cybermesa.com/~bludevil/RackMount/

Hope someone can help me out here.
