All fluids should be changed by inspection, IE, BEFORE they get
dirty/gritty/groudy/smelly/foggy/milky. It can vary as to time/milage
depending upon how the vehicle is used. Actual inspection is the only way
to verify not too soon or not too late. That goes for every fluid in the
vehicle.
