My transporter was heavily undercoated by the previous owner and is very quiet on the road. Only a bit of wind noise around the windows and only a little tire/road feedback...

I lined my whole van floor with B-Quiet sound deadener and I helped substantially. Cost a little under $200, but worth it for extended trips. Let me know if you need info.
