Probably overkill, but, may be useful. The one I had that I used to strap to the rear hatch was a Thule. You can adjust them to fit the back of anything and mine had 4 bikes jammed on it a few times. I'm interested in a fold-away, inexpensive (under $75.00) bike rack capable of carrying 3 bikes. I don't need anything expensive or incredibly well-made because it will be for occasional recreational use. We are not serious bikers. Up to now, have traveled with 2 bikes inside the Vanagon (90 Multivan) but 3 would be too crowded and we couldn't take the dogs. Anybody have any ideas?
