Thanks for the quick reply. As before, your diagnosis is consistent with a problem potentially caused by excessive jostling due to towing.

So, can you give me a little more guidance on where to look for a loose ground wire? Does the high beam indicator's status suggest a particular area to look for a loose ground wire(s)?

I saw some brown wires kind of hidden behind and above the fuse area, but all appeared to be in place, and I couldn't get my fingers back in there in any case.

All of the help is much appreciated.
