Barrow is a rather interesting and unique place to see, "northernmost point"...

You have to fly tho. I believe there are two flights daily from Fairbanks. When we went 2 years ago you could buy a day tour package or an overnite one.

If you go to Seward don't miss the aquarium or whatever it's called.
