Volks, Just rolled into Anchorage, AK. First email connection in a long time ..... took a while to get caught up on all the Euro Cars posts. An Opinion .... As many of you know ... Eurocars did a lot of work rebuilding and setting up the RoadHaus. I believe Ken to be a good guy handling a bad situation horribly. I'm very disappointed in the way Ken has dealt with his clients during this timeframe. There is no excuse for the lack of communication. Huge thanks to Paul Ackerman and a few others who have been able to get some facts on the situation. My concern would be that because of what I perceive to be his limited financial means right now ... he may be short on money to purchase parts or machine shop work needed to finish some of the vans in his control. If this is true .... this could drag on a long while. My opinion ... if you can afford to take the financial loss ... I'd echo what some others have said .... get to Denver and with Paul's help .. locate your Van and get it to a safe, secure location. If you are not financially able to take the loss ..... hunker down and utilize Paul's communication path into Ken to work towards some sort of livable conclusion. In the end ... I'm hopeful that Ken will deliver some reasonable solution for each Van owner. I'm sorry to say ..... like everyone else ..... I'm pretty much out of the loop with Ken. He has not responded to any of my recent emails or calls. All that I have expressed is "Opinion" Only. Such a shame .... his 2.2L engine seems to be running fine for me ... 10,000 miles and no problems.
