Larry, Seward and Homer are awesome. You really "HAVE" to go to both towns! I could try to tell you all about them, but you should just GO there. I mean, you're already in Anchorage! Also, you might want to check out Whittier. You can actually drive there now, but when I last visited you had to take a train. Now, you can drive through the train tunnels, during the day (certain hours, days of the week).
