ok..yesterday i took a lister's advice and swapped out the filler neck on my 84... thinking the vent tube was clogged or the float ball was missing... neither was the problem... what else is there to change?? the fuel tank has all new lines, new grommets, everything in ken's kit from the tank to the expansion tanks has been replaced.... im getting tired of getting gas all over my feet and having to wipe the side of the van off every time i fill it up.. and those of you who say "dont top it off" well, i cant tell when the level is getting to the top by sound, so that doesnt work.. any other listers having this problem? maybe i should design some sort of filler neck extension i can pop on the pump nozzle so it cuts off sooner.. chris |
