What is affordable?

Cheap and reliable are not necessisarily compatible, but then neither is expensive and reliable.

However, notice that "reliable" is the key word, and you most like will get that with the more expensive engine rebuild than the cheaper engine rebuild. A cheap rebuild is usually cheap at the expense of quality, and the differene between cheap and expensive bites you in the shorts some where down the road, like leaking heads or something.

Either rebuild it yourself, (really cheap, but you have control) or bite the bullet and get one from Boston Bob, who's engines have a known history of poerformance and reliability. You will be happy you did.
