Relay fix:

Just to let everyone know, you can put the relay behind the dash, instead of way back at the starter. I didn't want to put it back there because of water / salt / corrosion issues. It requires a bit of rewiring though. If there is any clamour from the list, I could give detailed instructions.

Hello,

I have been experience an intermittent problem with my starter. It seems that it works perfectly when scooting around town, however it occasionally doesn't turn over after we've been driving a long time.

It seems that everything is good at the front of the car because the fuel pump turns on, however the starter doesn't turn over. Also I learned that if I hit the starter with a rock it will then go and start-up.

Can someone please advise how to remedy this problem?

Thank you, Shawn.
