I too installed the WR-1 relay.  Since then I've never been stranded and the
relay does help, but the motor does turn over slower when hot.  Should the
VR-1 return it to 'like new' performance (for lack of a better term!) or is
there a problem with the relay installation?  Do relays fail over time?
