So, my alternator belt (Tiico engine) had been squealing for a couple of months (note: this isn't a daily driver.) It was one of those roundtuits. Then tonight I run it out for some gas. No squealing. Cool. or rather no so cool. AC needs attention. So I get gas and drive back home (round trip about 5 miles). Pop the engine cover and start to work on the checking the AC...noticed I don't have an alternator belt. Oops. Grabbed one of the spares, threw a can of freon in to top off the AC and cold AC again...and I'm charging the battery too! :) Kim Brennan 86 Syncro. 91 Westy Syncro. 90 Tristar Vienna VA.
