I used flat white paint. I cleaned the dip stick of oil with lacquer thinner, sanded it with fine sand paper and spray painted it. I think that was it. ask Stan for more details next time he posts. William
What kind of paint? So the paint doesn't flake off into the oil!!! Regards, John Rodgers 88 GL Driver developtrust wrote: Stan Wilder told me of a trick. Sand the tip that shows the oil and paint it white. Did that on mine and it works great. William
My dipstick is tarnished or darkened. It's very difficult to see where my oil line is. Anyone else have this problem and is there a way to clean the dipstick so I can see my oil line? _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8: Get 6 months for $9.95/month http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup
