> Anyone else got any urban camping tips? We've on more than one occasion crashed on city streets when it got too late for driving. The last time was for a friend's wedding and it worked well, although it was pretty cool out. If it was warm it woulda sucked since leaving the windows cracked would invite a late night guest. The biggest skill (that I'm still learning) is to size up the slope and grade of a potential spot on the fly. Nothing gives you away like circling the block - or putting chunks of wood under the tires! Sleepy residential (mid-income -- the rich neighborhoods don't care for me) places are great since what's one more car on the street for a night? john |
