Make sure to loosen the fill cap to make sure its not ceased up. Once you have confirmed its not frozen, you can pull the drain.

Hello all, Any special things i need to be aware of when changing auto trans fluid? I have the gasket set and strainer... just pull the plug and let the fluid drain? How about the torque converter? I know on some german cars it has a seperate drain plug. I have the vw fluid. thanks in advance, jesse
