Kind of off the subject, but not totally! Has anybody read paperback books by Lora Roberts? She writes about her old van, George, and how she lives in it in various locations from Palo Alto, CA to Colorado. She is basically homeless and depends on her van to give her shelter. She also has to deal with sleeping on the streets in various cities and relates how the police harass her. They are mystery stories and she gets involved in different murders, etc. while living in her van. I really enjoyed reading her books (about 4 of them) and could relate to the van, since it was a "bus" type. Sharon Mendonca |
