Good afternoon all, I have an '86 GL, and I am about to drop the AT pan for the third time in 10K. Can't stop the leaking. I have a new gasket/filter kit from Ken at Vanagain. Does anyone have any tips on how to make this a successful endeavor ? The AT gasket has appeared to pull into the pan in a few spots.
Secondly I lose my power steering belt every couple thousand miles or so. It appears that the PS pump is out of line, and the belt burns up from friction. This has happened to the wife twice now, and I'd hate for the PS belt to take The others with it while she's on the road.
Thanks for any and all help!
All thumbs, Andrew '86 GL 80,800K
