Looking for advice and suggestions from this list of experts...

Our family needs a larger vehicle.  Currently, we are driving a '92 740 Turbo Volvo.  The back seat is too small, with a car seat, and two teenage boys.  We like the "older" vans, but prefer the higher horsepower in the engine of a EuroVan year 2001 or later.  

What advice can you give?  Has anyone tethered a carseat in a Eurovan?
