...and I agree. I love camping, biking, hiking in Utah. I think I may have sounded sarcastic about Utah .... you couldn't see my tongue in my cheek in this medium ......

The local Wal-Mart here doesn't allow camping ( Oceanside, CA ). It's good to know that isn't univesal. As for Utah, it's one of my favorite states in which to camp. I love Zion, Canyonlands, Arches, Capitol Reef and all the other geological wonders concentrated there - but not in August! I came close to dying in July hiking to the Green-Colorado confluence overlook. I foolishly didn't take enough water, and almost didn't get back.
