Subject: WTB air conditioning condensor for 84 to 91
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed

List: It's been a while since I've posted to the list, but I'm still here. On April 28, I hit a deer in northern Iowa with our 91 Vanagon. Big deer, going pretty fast ( the Vanagon.) We nursed the Vanagon the last 75 miles home, with a leaking radiator. (Late Sunday nite, no cell phone reception. Seemed like a good idea at the time!) After battling with the insurance company, they agreed to pay for the repair, but asked that the body shop get used parts where avalable. Still over $4000 repair bill! I've got an 87 parts car that is supplying some of the parts. I've just found that my air conditioning condensor has stripped threads on one of the fittings. Anyone got a good one for sale? I remember seeing one on ebay a while back with no bids for $15!! Duh!! Please respond via p-mail..
