This is the second time I've heard of one. A friend of mine had a crack
diagnosed by a mechanic whom I trust, which was causing a minor oil
leak. He was advised to let it go unless it worsened (given his limited
budget versus the cost of repair). So far it's been over a year and it
has not worsened.
