Thanks for the reply! Other than my #3 terminal wire being black, things are exactly the same!

Part of the reason I figured the wire coming out of this terminal was "non-stock" was that the wire was very poorly attached to the connector. But maybe a PO just managed to tear out the original brown wire and came up with this.
