Hello folks,

Time for another reminder. The 3rd Annual Van-O-Rama is coming September 6.
It will be at Pine Lake Day Camp at Stern Grove in San Francisco.

Stern Grove is located at the corner of Sloat Blvd. and 19th Ave (Highway 1)
near the San Francisco Zoo and close to Ocean Beach.

Take an opportunity to meet your fellow Vanagoners and Syncronauts. It's
harder to flame someone when you've met them in person.;)

Since I am probably the most disorganized organizer on these lists, help is
always welcome. I got as far as getting the permits from the Park & Recreation
for the event. That's about it.  We have a total of 40 parking spaces which we
can block off. The rest of the spaces in the park has to be open to the
public. Of course, if we have more than 40 vans there, you can always be part of
the public. Last year we actually had almost triple the permit allowance.
Fortunately, there were no more than 30 vans at any given time. People drove in and
out all day.

If anyone wants to volunteer for any activities, please pmail so I can sorta
coordinate that with other people's plans. I am going to send out invitations
to some of the local vendors. Many of them came last year. I would like to
keep the commercial aspect of this event as low profile as possible.
