I think you are dead wrong here. I've never waited more than a couple of days on a EuroVan part. What odd things does VW need to order from Germany? All the standard replacement parts are readily available from VW, or from other import auto parts places.

I think Ron at the Bus Depot could get you most any replacement item as well.

The only item I've ever had to wait on were the rubber insets for the floor console.
