<P>hey Brian,</P>
<P>Thanks for the tips. i plan on really paying attention to the details and insulation is top of my list. it would be so nice to have a van that you could hold a conversation with back seat passengers at 70 mph! Like you said, the overhead panels and trim are a concern. i am not looking to go stock since the whole motif has already strayed. what ideas do you have?</P>
<P>thanks</P>

<DIV></DIV>>Jason,
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>What a great situation! Here is what I would do...
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>clean up EVERYTHING... and then research sound
<DIV></DIV>>deadening and insulation. Once I had that all dialed
<DIV></DIV>>in I would get all new rubber (assuming you don't
<DIV></DIV>>that) and replace all the window and door seals.
<DIV></DIV>>After that I would have the donar heater cores
<DIV></DIV>>pressure tested and then replace all the hoses and
<DIV></DIV>>reinstall the wiring and heater assemblies at the same
<DIV></DIV>>time. After that the GL interior would go in.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>About the only caveat would be if I was to stick to
<DIV></DIV>>the original overhead panels or put something exotic
<DIV></DIV>>in there. There are many great wood veneers out there
<DIV></DIV>>that would add a bit of creative distinction to your
<DIV></DIV>>very custom camper.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Anyway, I'm envious!
