I'm perplexed. My speedometer stopped working on the way back from Yellowstone. The upper cable was broken and I replaced it, but still no workie! I have seen the lower cable (from the wheel) is turning but when I connect it to the "counter box" the other side of the counter (towards the speedometer) does not turn as the wheel spins. I may have moved the bracket for the counter when I installed the new upper cable. Could it be that the lower cable end is not engaging with the counter input connection? Could the end facing the counter be worn out? Your thoughts? Ed |
