I strongly agree ...

Work the issue with the list supplier first and then...and only then .. bring it to the list! An offer to take the parts back for credit is, in my opinion, a reasonable solution. We should not hold list suppliers to a higher standard than we would for our local suppliers. Resolution with a local supplier is easier in most cases because we can inspect the parts on site before we purchase them,... we can also bring parts back to the supplier more easily to resolve problems with the parts if they arise.

There is both a cost and benefit associated with on line purchases. You can't expect to have your cake and eat it too! List prices and parts quality should be superior or else why would you want to deal with ordering parts through the internet?

Be reasonable! Don't take unfair advantage of the list forum. BD has proven to be a good parts supplier to the list! They are not perfect... none of us are!
