Subject: Stuck Defrost Fan
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello All,

I have an '85 Westy and was recently on a wonderful trip through Yellowstone in the 90 degree smoky weather (with no AC), when my internal fan locked on high. This is the fan that runs the defrost air, etc... The knob will not turn at all and I am afraid to push it too hard as it seems ready to break.

This morning, as I was warming the van up, the fan died for a few minutes and then came back on in full force--seemed like a loose electrical problem to me, but that doesn't explain why the knob is locked on full power.

Any ideas??
