Also beware of buying electronics from out of the USA (that may have been made specially for sale in other countries). You may find vendors such as Nikon USA will not honor any warranty on products not sold by a US retailer. My friend had this problem when he purchased his video camera from a seller in Japan...(the camera hadn't hit the US market yet and he just had to have it ). ALso,his manual, software , and the camera controls are all in Japanese. The manufacturer would not send him an english version of the software or manual.
