It's worth crawling under the van and banging the starter with a hammer a
few times. Thebearing at the end of the shaft can wear and sometimes stick
--- this usually happens when the engine is hot --- but for the price of a
few whacks with a hammer its worth a shot ---- might take care of a stick
solenoid too :-)
