Mine had the same problem. If you're lucky, it is just the pin (around which the #s roll) came out of the end hole. If the odo #s look as though they have fallen back & down a bit, that is your problem. This you can fix by pushing the pin in from the other end. I did a temp fix that lasted about 2 years by super-glueing a stopper (no glue on the pin please) on the end of the pin hole so that it could not come out.

After 2 years and lot of fiddling it finally broke beyond my ability. So I sent it to http://www.speedometer.com/ and for $70(US) plus shipping both ways they fixed, calibrated and generally R&R-ed it. I have yet to recieve it back so I can't tell you how/if it works. They had a bit of trouble calibrating a KPH speedo, but I think I got them straightened out. Malcolm
