Sorry about that last post - the web-based e-mail server mangled it!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that the Washington, DC area has been hit by heavy thunderstorms for the past few afternoons, and several hundered thousand customers have been without power. Unfortunately, I was one of them for about 26 of the last 48 hours...the power comes and goes. :(

Gerry and his associated equipment can run about 25 minutes on battery before the autoshutdown happens. Everything comes back up automatically once the batteries get recharged.

According to the taking heads near here, the severe weather pattern is over for now.

Oh, if you need to get in touch with me in the next 2 days use the tcarrington@terpsys.com address. The Relitech e-mail server took a hit, and it will be down until I have time to fix it this weekend.

Thanks, TomC
