My three cents :-)

I have an 85' weekender and think it's great. I don't have to worry about ancillary equipment failure (stove/sink etc) and can cook just fine on my table with a small pack stove. The dual battery setup supports any dc cooler I want and the extra bed space comes in very handy with a 100+ pound Akita (co-pilot and car alarm).

It is also a bit lighter and I can arange things the way I want them as opposed to what the westfalia folks thought was good.

In the end it's all personal preference :-)

Cheers, Brian 85' Westy weeknder "Rusty" 94' Akita "Ru" the wonderdog
